At the time, we serviced Bismarck, Williston & Minot from a Bismarck office. In 1984 we bought out KD Forklift in Grand Forks, and established service there. In 1989 we moved our main office to our current location in Minot, ND, and in 1991 we became a corporation.We purchased most of the assets & all the inventory of A-1 forklift of Fargo, ND in March of 2002. We purchased most of the assets & inventory from Penny's Lift Truck in Bismarck, ND in August, 2006.\par We started selling used equipment to meet customer needs in 1982, and in 1983 took on White Lift Trucks to service needs for new forklifts. In 1992 we took on Mastercraft line of rough terrain forklifts. We became a Global Products forklift dealer in 1997; handling two of their brands - Tailift and World. In 2003 we also became a Harlo Forklift dealer. We took on Hytsu brand of forklifts in 2007. We have sold Upright products since about 1985; & are a Genie & Manitou dealer, for the Telehandler forklifts & Aerial equipment such as articulated & boom type man basket lifts and scissor lifts. We are also a Magline Products dealer. We have a 300+ page catalog of allied products, for factory or warehouse use from safety items to material moving / storing products. \par We currently maintain a full line of about 150 new & used forklifts on hand, as well as Magliner hand carts, Pallet jacks, battery chargers & forklift forks. We have service available for a radius of 150 miles from our offices in Grand Forks, Minot, Williston and Bismarck. All of our vans are fully stocked, with shelving down both sides of the vans as well as across behind the seats. We carry probably 10 times the inventory of small items than most any other lift truck dealer we have seen. This means we can fix more things faster and cheaper, as we don't have to run to a parts store every few minutes for some small fastener or something.\par Our planned maintenance service is far and above other forklift companys in the total record keeping and depth of cleaning, servicing and checking. Setting a forklift up on a Planned Maintenance program will save you unwanted down time as well as save you money in the long run.\par We do OSHA safety training at customer locations anywhere in our trade area of ND, SD, MT & MN. We will come to your store at your convenience, so as not to disrupt the business any more than possible and to save you dollars.\par SO, if you need Forklift Service in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota or Montana, you can call us for quality, dependable service from a North Dakota corporation. \par We have given our customers only the finest over the years, and they have repaid us with good growth. We thank you for that, and look forward to a good future, \par Remember, we are NOT one of the "out of state" companys that rush here for the "gold rush" oil profiteering. Out of state companys come to ND when there is an oil boom; charge as much as $20 to $30 per hour more than local companys, & when the "boom" diminishes they will again leave the country. When they do, the local forklift co's such as AIS Eq Inc are "stuck" with trying to repair equipment that you can't even find parts or service information on.\par \pard\sb100\sa100\qr Dan Caswell, AIS Equipment, Inc. \par \pard\f1\fs20\par }
